Melbourne Writer's Festival

With increased Government investment, the Melbourne Writers' Festival is attracting record attendances and increasing its national and international profile through expanded programming.

Sponsorship is also increasing as the festival expands and broadens its audience.

The relocation to Federation Square from the Malthouse in 2008 centralised and raised the profile and popularity of the Festival.

The Festival moved its office to the Wheeler Centre: Books, Writing and Ideas in 2009.
