Support and Advice for Artists

Support and advice for individual artists or organisations is available from the following peak bodies and organisations working in regional Victoria.

Support for musicans - Resound Bushfire Appeal

The Music Council of Australia's Resound program, in partnership with the Dandenong Ranges Music Council, is organising donations of musical instruments to musicians of all ages and ability who have lost instruments in the bushfires.

If you have lost an instrument in the fires - whether it was a $30 uke or a violin worth thousands - you can register on the Resound website.

All applications will be considered and Resound intends to start replacing instruments as soon as possible.

Business Advice and Development

In partnership with the Victorian Government, the Victorian Employers' Chamber of Commerce and industry (VECCI) is offering Victorian businesses affected by the bushfires the opportunity to discuss their situations with qualified business advisors and be provided with strategic, independent advice on the future of their business. To arrange a meeting with an advisor, contact Ed Walta on 0417 314 933 or email: edwalta@netspace.net.au.

Business Victoria is also offering professional business advice and counselling services. Register your interest via the Business Victoria website.
