Agencies and Infrastructure

The Agencies and Infrastructure Branch is headed by Dennis Carmody, Deputy Director.

The Branch provides strategic leadership and advice to the eight major State-owned Arts and Cultural Organisations (Agencies) within the arts portfolio. This includes maintaining effective governance and reporting arrangements and the coordination of policy development, business plans, capital and recurrent budgets, board statutory appointments and legislative reforms.

Through the Agencies and Infrastructure Branch, Arts Victoria is responsible for all of the State-owned Arts Facilities and Assets. Arts Victoria has funding programs for maintenance and redevelopment of these buildings and spaces, is responsible for building management issues, internal fit outs and facilities and manages all capital works projects.

In addition, the Branch oversees corporate finance, government and information management/Cabinet liaison, asset management, and support services for Arts Victoria.
