An independent, non-profit, project-based organisation which is committed to artistic risk-taking behaviour, creating and producing collaborative performance projects that combine contemporary music and other art forms.

APAC is located in the the city's historic 1899 town hall building. Presentations cater for audiences from pre-school and school aged children through to variety morning musical concerts for seniors. The theatre program also includes comedy and country music presentations.

The gallery holds one of only two major contemporary fibre and textile collections in Australia and is housed in an imposing late-Victorian town hall building.

Arena Theatre Company is an internationally recognised leader in the field of theatre for young people aged 5-25. It performs new Australian works, both in theatre and in schools, which incorporate live music and new technologies.

Established in 1884, the Art Gallery of Ballarat is Australia’s oldest and largest regional gallery with a remarkably comprehensive collection of Australian art, including Arnhem Land bark paintings, landmark works of the Heidelberg, Social Realist and the Angry Penguins periods. The Gallery's other treasures include Medieval manuscripts, the nation's most comprehensive collection of works by the Lindsay family, and the original flag from the 1854 Eureka Stockade.

Artlink covers contemporary art in Australia and through its networking with the national and international scene, Artlink provides a context for evaluation and analysis, regularly producing Special Issues on specific areas and undertaking major theme-based features. Artlink is headquartered in Adelaide.

Arts Access is the state-wide peak body promoting access to arts and cultural activities for people who are disadvantaged, including people with disabilities. Programs include advocacy, advice and referral, as well as artistic programs, international exchanges, disability awareness training, venue accreditation and ticketing programs.

Committed to boldly nurturing the development of new arts practices, works and audiences. Each year Arts House presents a curated program of contemporary art featuring performances, exhibitions, installations and cultural events that are intended to inspire dynamic community engagement.

Established in 2000, ArtsHub is a critical resource for Australia's arts sector. ArtsHub features daily news, reviews, interviews and articles of interest to those working in the creative industries; and is the first port of call for anyone wanting to advertise an arts industry position, event or seeking work in the sector.

The Arts Management Advisory Group (AMAG) provides professional development assistance to Victorian artists and arts managers through a range of seminars and forums. The organisation also manages the Arts Law Referral Service and the Arts Management Advisory Service.
