Aardvark Worldwide Inc

Received $30,000 for:

Young people with long-term or serious illness to work with musicians and music therapists in a series of weekly workshops; culminating in the recording of an original music CD.

Anglesea & District Community House

Received $5,000 for:

Local artist Katie Van Nooten to collaborate with a cross section of the community in Anglesea to create public artworks using mosaic tiles.

Auspicious Arts Projects auspicing Joseph Sherman

Received $20,000 for:

Community participants from the St Kilda Drop In Centre to collaborate with theatre artists led by Joseph Sherman to create an adaptation of The Tempest. A seven month workshop and rehearsal period will culminate in a performance season at Theatre Works.

Community Radio Federation Ltd

Received $19,000 for:

Artists Bindi Cole, Reko Rennie and Tom Civil to collaborate with the local community including Indigenous young people, to create a multi-media mural on the exterior wall of 3CR Community Radio Station. Media will include painting (spray can and brush), stencils and large scale posters.

DVA Theatre Company Inc

Received $21,518 for:

Tall Worlds, a project that will see the company's performers, who have intellectual disabilities, work and collaborate with a range of artists, including musicians and designers, to create an interactive installation performance piece at the local library.

Elwood / St Kilda Neighbourhood Learning Centre

Received $19,550 for:

The Hallway The Alleyway, a creative writing project involving residents of rooming houses who will work with writers to develop a body of poetry and prose which is transformed into art posters. The project will culminate in a story-telling and poetry performance by participants and artists.

Gippsland Lakes Community Health

Received $25,000 for:

Camp FIRE - WATER hole, a permanent site-specific installation in the Lakes Entrance Community Services precinct. Community participants, including disadvantaged youth and the long-term unemployed will work with local artists and Koorie elders to design and construct the installation.

Golden City Support Services Inc

Received $8,700 for:

People of all abilities from CreateAbility's Saturday Morning Drama Group to collaborate with Born in a Taxi physical theatre ensemble. Throughout a short workshop program, participants develop improvisational theatre performance skills, culminating in a public showing of the resultant work.

Jolt Sonic and Visual Arts

Received $45,080 for:

Three music ensembles for people with and without disabilities to create sound installations and multimedia concerts at Federation Square and fortyfivedownstairs.

Macedon Ranges Shire Council

Received $14,215 for:

The creation of a metal art garden incorporating recycled materials. Metal sculptor Woody Taylor will work with community members including long-term local farmers and new members who commute to work outside the town.
