Local Partnerships
2009-2010 Funding Recipients
The Local Partnership Program was introduced in July 2006 and replaced the annual grant funding that had been provided to regional art galleries and performing arts centres that are operated by local government authorities.
The program delivers financial assistance to councils through the multi-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that supports the delivery of arts and cultural services in their areas. It aims to strengthen existing networks, establish new programs in areas of need and enhance the viability of Victoria's art industry.
The following is a list of councils that had joined the program by July 2008, the total funding for the period from 1 July 2006 to 30 June 2010, and the facilities that are supported under the MoU.
