Ballerrt Mooroop College

Received $35,000 for:

A collaboration between indigenous students, the Big West Festival and artists, including director, Jodee Mundy, and Snuff Puppets director, Andy Freer, to create the 'Koorie Puppet Project', a theatre and puppetry performance exploring cultural stories.

Beechworth Secondary College

Received $36,500 for:

A collaboration between students, teachers and artists from Western Edge Youth Arts to create 'What Dreams May Come', a hybrid digital storytelling and performance work that re-imagines the texts of Shakespeare in a contemporary Australian setting.

Numurkah Primary School

Received $35,000 for:

'Little Treasures: Exploring Ourselves through Clay', a collaboration between students and ceramicists represented in the Shepparton Art Gallery's collection to create works for exhibition at the school and the gallery.

Reservoir Views Primary School

Received $35,000 for:

A collaboration between students and artists from Cultural Infusion to create 'Coming Together through a New Australian Zodiac', a series of performing arts and multimedia performances for the Darebin Arts Festival and the Federation Square Australia Day concert.

Rutherglen High School

Received $36,500 for:

A collaboration between students and the Australian Poetry Centre to create 'A Smorgasbord of Poetry and Self Expression', a series of workshops, poetry picnics and master classes culminating in publications and a multi-artform showcase for the community.

Sydney Road Community School

Received $35,000 for:

A collaboration between students and La Mama Theatre to create 'Making Strings: An Exploration of Connections', a collection of student writings exploring personal and social connection leading to a series of short dramatic works.

Watsonia Primary School

Received $35,000 for:

A writing, theatre and digital recording partnership between students and Musica Viva, exploring community values and cooperation and culminating in a community performance entitled 'The Message of the Jungle Drum'.
