Arts Advisory Panels
Arts Advisory Panels are a standard method used by Arts Victoria in the grant evaluation process. They assess grant applications and make recommendations to the Minister for the Arts. They are used for the majority of Arts Victoria programs which are competitive and open for applications.
Each Panel is comprised of representatives from across the arts industry and other relevant areas to reflect the Victorian community and to add depth and value to the quality of advice presented to the Minister. Consideration is given to the balance of different artforms, cultural backgrounds, ages and an understanding of both regional and urban contexts.
Arts Victoria's Code of Conduct for Arts Advisory Panel Members outlines a code of conduct of confidentiality, conflict of interest and impartiality to be observed by all panel members.
Panel members are selected from an Arts Victoria database known as the Arts Advisory Panel Register. If you are interested in joining our Panel Register, or you would like to obtain a copy of the Code of Conduct for Arts Advisory Panel Members please contact us.
