UNESCO Melbourne City of Literature Logo Device and Guidelines

UNESCO Melbourne City of Literature logo

The UNESCO Melbourne City of Literature logo device is made up of three elements:

  1. The UNESCO logo
  2. The Melbourne, Australia 'smoothie' logo
  3. The words 'City of Literature'

All elements must appear together.

Right click on the links below (on a Macintosh press the Control key and click) and select 'save as' or 'save target as' to download the logo device in the format you want:

* If you are using Internet Explorer 6 a well documented bug in that browser will cause the file to be saved with a .ps extension instead of an .eps extension. Once the file is downloaded simply rename it so that it has the correct extension.

Guidelines for Use

There are conditions to be followed when using the UNESCO Melbourne City of Literature logo device which must apply unless approved by Arts Victoria's Communications Manager.

Minimum size

The logo device should not be reproduced any smaller than 27mm (w) x 19mm (h). Please note the image above is not actual size and is for reference only.

Clear space

UNESCO City of Literature logo device clear space requirements

There must be clear space above, below and to each side of the logo device equal to the half the height of 'UNESCO' in the logo.

  • No alterations or distortions can be made to the logo device.
  • The logo device is not to be redrawn or hand-duplicated.
