Organisations in receipt of Multi-year Operations funding are required to:

  • Enter into a funding and performance agreement with Arts Victoria.
  • Notify Arts Victoria of any changes to the organisation and proposed program, and any arising issues.
  • Publicly acknowledge the support of the Victorian Government using specific logos and text.
  • Adhere to the Arts Victoria Communication and Media Protocols.
  • Report annual statistical information through the Victorian Arts Industry Checklist.

Funding and Performance Agreement

The purpose of this agreement is to establish:

  • The performance expectations between Arts Victoria and the organisation.
  • The method of reporting those expectations.
  • The level of funding provided to meet those expectations.

All agreements under the Multi-Year Operations category are subject to half-yearly and end of year reporting.

The Victorian Government logoThe Arts Victoria logo must always appear with the Victorian Government logo. must be included on all promotional materials produced by the grant recipient in relation to the funded activity.

These may include (but are not restricted to):

  • Posters, fliers and brochures
  • Advertisements
  • Invitations
  • Information and education kits
  • Signage
  • Programs and catalogues
  • Websites.

The size and position of the logo should be commensurate with the level of funding provided by the Victorian Government through Arts Victoria in relation to other supporters.

Logo for Literature Organisations or Projects

In 2008, Melbourne was officially designated a UNESCO City of Literature. All literature projects or organisations receiving Arts Victoria funding should be branded under the initiative by using the UNESCO Melbourne City of Literature logo devlceUNESCO Melbourne City of Literature Logo DeviceThe UNESCO Melbourne City of Literature logo device is made up of three elements:1. The UNESCO logo 2. The Melbourne, Australia 'spiky' logo3. The words 'City of Literature'All elements must appear together. on all marketing and promotional materials. This should be used in addition to the standard logo and acknowledgements outlined above.

Text Acknowledgement

The following text acknowledgement should be use in any speeches, media releases, interviews and other circumstances where a logo may not be possible:

Victorian Arts Industry Checklist

All organisations funded through this category must report annually through the Victorian Arts Industry Checklist. The Checklist is Arts Victoria's statistical database that collects and records information from recurrently funded organisations on employment, financials, attendances, events, volunteer and member involvement, programming and more.

The data is used to analyse an organisation's performance over time, and to monitor overall industry and sector trends.

Aggregate Checklist data is published in the Research and Resources section of this website.

Organisations currently in receipt of Multi-year Operations funding should contact their client officer with any questions.

Arts Mildura Received $112,745 in 2011-2012 for:

2012 operations as part of a biennial agreement. Arts Mildura present five events in Mildura and the surrounding region - Mildura Wentworth Arts Festival, Mildura Writers Festival, Murray River International Music Festival, Mildura Jazz Food & Wine Festival and Palimpsest.
