The response to this program has been fantastic with tickets to many shows being snapped up within hours of launch. There are still a limited
number of tickets available for a range of performances, especially in regional Victoria - but you have to be quick!
We will be adding new tickets as they become available, so if you're unsuccessful today, please visit us again. |
There are few, if any, experiences that rival the atmosphere of a live performance. And there are few places in the world that offer the diversity and quality of performances available right here in Victoria.
We've got some of the best of theatre, opera, circus, cabaret, dance, music and other live performance happening throughout the state ready to entertain you.
What's more, we want you to experience it free.
If you haven't been to the performing arts in a while - or ever - we'll give you two free tickets to come and enjoy one of the shows on offer here on the Test Drive the Arts website.
We reckon it will be an experience that will have you coming back for more.

Search for an event to Test Drive
There are four ways to find an event to Test Drive:
Your free tickets to the arts in 5 easy steps.
Just follow the five simple steps below. Once you have submitted your Test Drive registration form, the company performance you are "test driving" will contact you directly to arrange for your tickets to be sent to you.
Step 1
Check that you are eligible:
- Are you a Victorian Resident?
- Are you over 18 years of age?
- Can you confirm that you have not attended a performance with the Test Drive Company for the past three years?
If you answered "yes" to these questions, then you are eligible to Test Drive.
NB: There are some venue or performance specific conditions (eg, residents of Albury 2640 can apply for Test Drive the Arts tickets at HotHouse Theatre). Carefully read the terms and conditions of the performance you wish to attend.
Step 2
Browse the shows on offer and select the one you would like to attend. Please choose carefully as you only get one opportunity to Test Drive.
Step 3
Read and agree to the terms and conditions.
Step 4
Complete and submit the Test Drive registration form (tickets are limited, you will receive an email telling you whether or not your request has been successful, if not, you'll have a chance to apply for another show).
Step 5
Attend the performance and complete the 60 second feedback form.
