The artists are from many fields; they may be involved in literature, performing arts, visual arts or environment design. The program is funded by the Victorian State Government through the Department of Education, Employment and Training (DEET) and managed by Arts Victoria. 2000 PROJECT REPORTS In 2000, 40 schools across Victoria received funding for artists in schools projects. Each project is documented by a report written by the school and an artists diary. This document includes the reports from the school and some photos and images from the artists' diaries. They provide an invaluable resource for teachers and artists interested in being involved in the program. The full artists diaries are held at the Education Resource Centre (ERC), the Faculty of Education Library of the University of Melbourne. To arrange to see the diaries please contact the ERC Information Desk (Phone 03 8344 8316).
