The La Trobe University Art Museum is located in Glenn College on the Bundoora campus, approximately sixteen kilometres north of the Melbourne CBD. The Museum was established in 1983 and changing exhibitions are drawn from the University's extensive collection of Twentieth Century Australian art. The Museum frequently curates touring exhibitions which travel to regional galleries across Victoria.

La Trobe University's art collection is displayed in public buildings across the University campuses for the education and enjoyment of the University members and the wider public. In addition, La Trobe is the custodian of Clifton Pugh's Dunmoochin Foundation Art collection. Selections of the Anthropology Teaching Collection of Melanesian and Australian Aboriginal artefacts and bark paintings are occasionally displayed. There is a small holding of artefacts collected by the African Research Institute. Chisholm College, Bundoora campus, comprises works of art featuring Australian flora and fauna. Sculptures of particular interest include Inge King's Dialogue of Circles, Leonard French's Four Seasons and Mandala and Bart Sanciolo's bronze depicting Dante's Divine Comedy.

The FM Courtis Collection at La Trobe University's Bendigo campus comprises some three hundred Australian works of art dating from the early Twentieth Century to the present day and includes works by Fred Williams, 'Jock' Frater and John Mather.

Opening times are Tuesday-Thursday 1-4pm or by appointment. Admission is free and group tours of the exhibitions and campus ground may be arranged by contacting the Curator of Art Works.
