Indigenous Policy Statement

For the protection of Indigenous arts practice from misappropriation, moral and copyright infringement, the following material must be submitted if you propose to work with an Indigenous artist and/or an Indigenous community:

• Letters of support from the relevant Indigenous community/organisation and/or representative/s.
• Confirmation of interest in involvement from the relevant Indigenous artist/community and/or organisation/s.

If you are unsure of protocol processes and requirements please discuss your application with Arts Victoria's Senior Arts Officer - Indigenous Arts prior to finalising your application.
