  • Arts and Education Partnerships - evaluates partnerships between schools and the professional arts sector
  • Arts and Disability - examines ways to increase the participation of people with a disability as artists and audience members
  • The Small Arts Sector Research and Evaluation report provides a detailed picture of the small arts landscape, its chief characteristics and an assessment of the importance of government support. The report was undertaken by Deloittes on behalf of Arts Victoria in 2006-07.
  • The Role of Arts and Culture in Liveability is an economic study into how the arts contributes to the liveability of a community. In this context, liveability means what attracts people to a particular place to live, work, play, raise a family, do business and invest.
  • Risky Business explores the creative arts as an intervention activity for young people at risk.
  • Arts Victoria's Client Services Survey provides applicants with the opportunity to comment on our services. The valuable feedback we receive assist us to improve our services to the sector, how we communicate and how we evaluate our funding programs.

Evaluation Projects

  •  Touring Victoria evaluation found that the program helps arts venues to build new audiences and expanded the skills of performers and staff.
  •  Strengthening Local Communities: Arts in Community Settings evaluates the outcomes of two community focussed grant programs Arts Development for Communities and Arts Residencies. The report demonstrates that the arts is a powerful and inclusive way to strengthen a community.
  • Arts Development Evaluation is a report that demonstrates how arts development funding produces wide-ranging outcomes for artists and arts organisations.
