There are few, if any, experiences that rival the atmosphere of a live performance. And there are few places in the world that offer the diversity and quality of performances available right here in Victoria.

We've got some of the best of theatre, opera, circus, cabaret, dance, music and other live performance happening throughout the state ready to entertain you.

What's more, we want you to experience it free.

If you haven't been to the performing arts in a while - or ever - we'll give you two free tickets to come and enjoy one of the shows on offer here on the Test Drive the Arts website.

We reckon it will be an experience that will have you coming back for more.

Test Drive tickets go fast! Tickets to many shows are snapped up within hours, so you have to be quick! But we'll be adding new tickets as they become available, so if you're unsuccessful today, please visit us again. Your free tickets to the arts in 5 easy steps.

Step 1

Search for an event to Test Drive. There are four ways to find what you want:

• Search by Month
• Search by Region of Victoria
• Search by Artform
• View All Events

You can only get free Test Drive the Arts tickets once, so please choose carefully!

 

Step 2

Confirm that you are eligible:

1. Are you a Victorian Resident?
2. Are you over 18 years of age?
3. Have not attended a performance with the chosen Test Drive Company within the past three years?
4. Have not applied for and received Test Drive the Arts tickets in the past?

NB: There are some venue or performance specific conditions (eg, residents of Albury 2640 can apply for Test Drive the Arts tickets at HotHouse Theatre). Carefully read the terms and conditions of the performance you wish to attend.

 

Step 3

Read and agree to the terms and conditions.

 

Step 4

Complete and submit the Test Drive the Arts registration form. (Tickets are limited, so you will receive an email telling you whether or not your request has been successful. If not, you're welcome to apply for another show.)

If you're successful, the organisation you are Test Driving will then contact you directly to arrange for your tickets to be sent or picked up.

 

Step 5

Attend the performance and complete the 60 second feedback form.
